I would rate this book 5/5! If not more, I absolutely fell in love with the characters within this book and after reading it there was an empty pit in my chest where that characters will live forever. While the subject of quadriplegia is a fragile one, I feel that it was dealt with relatively well in this book. Also, I found Louisa hilarious and incredible relatable! The romantic aspect of the book are very subtle and I think that this makes the budding relationship between Lou and Will even more effective.

A brief synopsis:
The book follows the life of Louisa Clark and her struggling family in a small town, struggling to find a decent job to help support her parents and sister she stumbles upon a job as a carer for a paraplegic man. Enter Will, incredibly angry and standoffish to begin with Louisa struggles to wriggle her way into his life. Eventually after many sarcastic comments Will and Louisa embark upon a path of friendship that blossoms into something more and gets stronger and stronger everyday. But, Lou has to convince Will that life is worth living and that he can still go on adventures and have fun despite his situation. You'll have to read this book to find out what happens and whether Lou and Will survive the unexpected.
This book is utterly beautiful and I honestly could not stop reading. It is exactly what I look for in a romantic novel, even though it is a very sad situation — with Will being a quadriplegic and confined to his wheelchair. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a novel that is heart wrenching and funny. Lou has a wonderful sense of humor and he and Will have this wonderful charisma and sense of ease when they are in each others presence.
This tragic love story is a brilliant read and I will never forget the amazing characters that are within it. A definite must read!
Much love
xx
